Alchymia Single Malt Whisky

Using traditional techniques from the different Whisky regions, we strive to bring you an extraordinary Single Malt Whisky that reflects our passion, our 500ltr Copper Pot Belly Still called ‘Joyce’, after Sarah’s Nan, makes the most wonderful new make spirit that will be transformed over the coming years into our uniquely Tasmanian Alchymia Single Malt Whisky. We are experimental in our approach, using different casks, maturation times and distilling techniques…. That is the joy of being small batch and family owned, we are just doing what we love doing. Our Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky is made by hand with passion and patience right here on site and available to taste and purchase in the Tasting Room. There is no filtering of our spirit or colouring added, it gets all of its character and colour from the barley and the barrels that we select, it is then bottled to be enjoyed in its true form!

Alchymia Gin

We have developed the most beautiful Alchymia Gins here on site. We are constantly experimenting with new botanicals found right here on Table Cape Tasmanian. Both of our core Gins London Dry & Ginger and Lemongrass, are available all year round with 4 seasonal Gins making an appearance in the Tasting Room as the seasons change.

Alchymia Vodka

Here at Alchymia Distillery we are keen to reduce our waste to a minimum and our 9 plate column still ‘Muriel’, named after Matts Nan, helps us transform the feints and tails of our whisky barley wash into an extraordinarily smooth Vodka!! Both of our core Vodkas Chilli & Ginger & Lime are available all year round alongside the occasional one off Vodka which is typically created following one of our locals bringing us surplus fruit or berries!!
